Prorsum.

I absolutely LOVE the Spring2011 Collection of Burberry Prorsum. After the Fall 2010 collection, I was getting really enthusiastic about Burberry Prorsum and this collection is awesome as well!  The military influences I really like, as well as the biker clothes with the studs. Also the trenchcoats and the leather jackets are really cool. Below I placed some detail pics of them, so you can see it better, enjoy!

AllaKostromichova.

Alla Kostromichova is an Ukranian model, born December 17 1986. Last years she has been doing great and she did shows for amongst others Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Hermes, Jil Sander, Givenchy and Alexander Wang. I think she's really beautiful and has got a really original look, so here's some pics!

Lanvin.H&M.

The 23th of november it is FINALLY so far: the Lanvin collection for H&M will be launched here in the H&M shops in Holland. In the USA the hysteria has started today, on the 20th of november; I saw pictures of people sleeping in tents in front of the stores, so I am excited how it will be in Holland this week. Until that time, here are some pictures of the fashion show for the womens' collection!

IrisvanHerpen.

The winner of this years' Dutch Fashion Awards: Iris van Herpen. She's an upcoming Dutch designer with a beautiful collection. Her non-functional clothes, in my eyes sometimes more art than clothing, are one of the best collections are really impressing. Here some pics for an impression of her latest collection!

AlexanderMcQueen.Spring2011.

Designed by Sarah Burton, this was the first collection designed after his death. I think it's quite a good collection, with a lot of McQueen's typical style you can see in this collection. The silhouettes of the dresses you can see resemble the futuristic dresses from spring 2010 and the shoes are pretty much like the metal shoes of the same collection.

What I also thought was really cool was the folkloristic outfits in the collection, which you can see down here.

I really loved this outfit below; the fabric is absolutely beautiful and it has quite some elements of McQeen in it, when you look at the shoes and the skull-clutch.

The dresses you can see below look pretty much like the futuristic dresses I mentioned before, but when you watch them more closely you can see that the print is pretty different. It looks to me a bit  Asian style print

Ok. My first blog about fashion. It's my first 'fashion blog' so hope you'll enjoy.

To talk about I chose the new Spring 2011 show of Prada, because I really looove it! When I first saw the show I was immediately crazy about it.

First of all the colors for this show are awesome; a lot of really bright orange en pink colors, combined with primary colors. I think it's funny to see how Miucci Prada combines the colors in a funny and risky way; a lot of uncommon color combinations, but thought they're really good. As well very bright colors combined with bright colors, as bright colors combined with more neutral colors.

 

Besides these dared color combinations I love the way how the stripe-patterns are combined with more 'Baroqueske' prints; a lot of these prints are from the jungle theme and go perfectly as a contrast.

The accessories that are used are perfect: the mostly fluorizing (fake?) fur, the Tim-Burtonlike sun glasses and shoes and even the striped sombreros. Also a lot of beautiful more classical bags and purses!

The only thing that didn't really made me happy were the flat shoes with the enormous plateau soles beneath it; they made me a bit sad to be honest.

But over all it is a amazing collection, beautiful colors, great dares combinations and awesome accessories.
